The True North is a sport fishing yacht perfect for couples and families. Amenities which separate it from other Lake Erie fishing charters:

• A cooler to take your fish home (This can be left in your vehicle until we return. We utilize the onboard freezer box for fish storage while we are fishing.)

• 1 gallon size freezer bags for fish fillets if you plan to have your fish cleaned by True North staff

Clients have not reported any significant complaints regarding the hotel. It is conveniently situated near various fast food and sit-down dining establishments as listed above.

Customers are welcome to clean their own fish, but we also offer a fish cleaning service for $2.00 per fish. If you’d like True North staff to clean your catch, please bring 1 gallon freezer bags for your fillets. Cleaning takes place at a public fish cleaning station located in Avon Lake, OH about 6 miles from the marina.

If you are late for our agreed upon departure time, additional fishing time can not be added to the end of the trip. If you fail to inform us after 1 hour of the scheduled departure time that you will be late, your charter will be canceled, and your deposit will be forfeited.

While we are capable of operating through inclement weather, the captain has the right to cancel the trip at anytime due to the weather, wind, or wave conditions to ensure the safety of all onboard.

If the charter is canceled prior to leaving the dock, you will receive a full refund of your deposit.

If canceled after leaving the dock, total cost will be pro-rated based on time fishing.

Signed release of liability waiver must be signed prior to leaving the dock. A link to the waiver will be part of your booking email.
